UK election fever continues at the bookies
UK election fever continues at the bookies >> "Bookmakers William Hill, who had been betting on a Labour majority of 64 or greater have now lifted their level to 81 and offer Even money that they will secure a majority of that level or greater; Even money that it will be 80 or less, and 7/1 that they get no majority at all.
Hills are also now predicting a higher turnout than previously thought, making a turnout rate of 60-61.99% their new 3/1 favourite (from 100/30), replacing the former 11/4 favourite, 58-59.99 which is now out to 100/30, while Hills have also cut 64-65.99 from 8/1 to 6/1. 'Punters seem to be anticipating a higher level of turnout than seemed likely in the earlier stages of the campaign' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe."
