QPR Lose Away To Sheffield Utd 3-2Sheffield Utd 3Webber (42) (52)

Never went anywhere near Sheffield today but I gather by reading the
QPR Official Site Sheffield Utd Match Report that we played well and were robbed of a point by the referee.
Paul Furlong was out today so George Santos played up front next to Gallen I gather. The 3-2 defeat leaves us pretty much no chance of getting into the playoffs, but overall it has been quite a season.
QPR favourites to go down this season? Baah.
QPR Robbed By The RefereeHolloway Said
"That challenge was nothing," Holloway raged. "Decisions change games and that was an absolute disgrace, an embarrassment.
"I thought we played well and scored two good goals and then that happens.
"I had people behind me laughing at that penalty and Leigh Bromby even apologised to Marc Bircham after the game.
"It's a physical game and I feel sick. You work all week, you plan and you get kicked in the teeth. The referee has ripped out my heart and stamped on it.
"I feel sick to the soles of my feet and I think I'll cry myself to sleep. Even copious amounts of white wine won't wipe out this feeling."
The red card for Andrew Davies hardly improved the manager's mood either.
"The sending off was a ridiculous decision, Ollie blasted. "I've seen it on the tape and it should of been a free-kick to us! Kabba tripped Andy Davies first.

Just a quick word about your game at the Lane. I'm a Blade and was sat on the Kop last saturday. I have to agree with Ian Holloway. You didn't lose to us, you were robbed by the ref giving a very soft pen. You have a strong team who play really good football and it was a mainly enjoyable game throughout. Just remember that after we beat you at the start of the season you went on a long winning run. I hope you do the same again now. All the best for the rest of the season. Bladesman
