Tony Cascarino Has Left Talksport
Why Has Tony Cascarino Has Left talkSPORT Radio?
Tony Cascarino who played for Ireland 88 times, but is about as Irish as I am and was later to discover he was'nt even eligible to play for Ireland seems to have left talkSPORT Radio
Tony Cascarino aka "Cool Hand Cas" due to his love of playing poker has certainly disappeared from sight, so to speak. Cascarino also writes for The Racing Post and The Times Newspaper about football. Cascarino was doing a sponsored London Marathon run involving talkSPORT Radio so it seems a bit wierd I have not heard anything on the radio from him lately, not even a message about his marathon training.
Patrick Kinghorn has not mentioned Tony atall, which is true to form with talkSPORT Radio policy or whatever, regarding "former" presenters. Kinghorn and Cascarino were the drivetime show duo called the King and Cas radio show.
Chelsea youth coach Jason Cundy seems to have taken Tony Cascarino's place alongside Patrick Kinghorn. I have never met Cundy, but other Chelsea youth coaches are easy enough to find around the West London area. Maybe Cundy will leave his Chelsea job to take up more media interests? To be honest it is not even clear if Cundy will be the permanent presenter to replace Cascarino. Who knows.
♠ Jason Cundy has fought off testicular cancer twice and hopefully for the last time. He is a good talker on the radio too, which is good, because I listen to the King and Cundy show.
Either way it seems that Tony Cascarino has left Talk Sport Radio.
