Julie Sturgeon from Bankrate.com writes a nice piece on gambling online and gambling in general. Perculiarly, the piece is not biased either way and shows up both sides of the online gambling coin, especially aimed at the elderly gambler.

Tom Allen from Manchester has a bad back (scoliosis) and a dodgy knee that needs an operation. Tom would be stuck indoors unhappy all day I guess. Tom Allen though, has dicovered online gambling in the form of Texas Hold Em poker.
Tom Allen's goal is to someday win a seat at the World Series of Poker. Tom is 38th out of the 500+ poker players who entered a tournament to get a shot at the big table. For now, the 6 hours a day he plays Poker there, means he's closing in on membership in Empire Poker's Royal Flush Club.
