Sir Les Ferdinand To Retire This Season, But Not At QPR?
Sir Les will definately retire at the end of the season if the reports are to be believed.
Veteran striker
Les Ferdinand insists he will retire after his six-month deal with Reading expires in the summer.
"I will call it a day at the end of the season. I said that last season, but I mean it this time," Ferdinand told
BBC Sport after his debut against
Swansea
I cannot understand why Sir Les never came home? It would have been a great boost for
Ranger With a good run QPR can reach the playoffs. We are 5 points off 6th spot.
Ian Holloway said something recently I don't understand seeing how well we are doing.
A more sensible comment ::
QPR Net posted on their message board that when they last spoke to Sir Les, he said something about
not wanting to return to QPR a worse player than he left us a decade or so ago.
Sir Les can't have gone to Reading for the money.. I figure he was on more to sit on the Bolton bench. Sir Les says he will retire in 6 months. I just don't get it.
If Sir Les came home and did'nt perform too well because of age, the
QPR fans would have never turned against him. The Ranger will never forget the dominant Sir Les running pacey defenders ragged.
QPR Blog Comment :: I think Sir Les still should come home to retire. The transfer window is still open. I doubt Steve Coppell would stand in his way.
Why
Sir Les Chose To Retire at
Reading is just beyond me. Leslie Ferdinand will always be Sir Les at Loftus Road, I am just a bit confused about why he never came home to retire.
