The Rodney Marsh Sacking For A Joke Way Too Harsh
Rodney Marsh was sacked by Sky for making a joke. Marsh's joke was in reply to a question from a caller on You're On Sky Sports live football phone-in programme. Some of the other stuff written about Marshie's sacking have been ridiculous.
It is in the press - tele, newspapers, radio, internet, it is all over. Everyone has said their piece. This is the best clip in my opinion. Phillip Cornwall from football 365 wrote with sense, balance and reason and he never liked Rodney Marsh in the first place really.

QPR Blog Comment :: Rodney Marsh is on Sky Sports because he shoots from the lip. Rod made a joke, simple as that. Rodney is due to be chief announcer at a Raise Money For The Asian Tsunami Victims next week I believe. That says it all. The sacking was way too harsh.
