QPR's Gary Waddock put out a strong
QPR reserve team yesterday afternoon V the
Millwall reserves
Chris Day, Marcus Bignot, Mr Marcus Bean, Rowlands, Miller, Thorpe and Kevin McLeod all started, Aaron Brown was on the bench back from his broken leg.
I never went to the game. I gather Waddock was happy enough with the performance and said Aaron Brown "looked sharp".
QPR Net's Simon Skinner went to the match and reports.
Reserves shot to pieces.
An experienced reserve side drew 1-1 against their Millwall counterparts at Loftus Road this afternoon. It was a game that Rangers seemed destined to win only to see a late defensive lapse cost them dear.
There was plenty of first team experience on show with Day, Bignot, Bean, Rowlands, Miller, Thorpe and McLeod all making the starting XI. Youngsters Lee Craig, Pay Kanyuka, Ryan Johnson and Shabazz Baidoo completed the team. There was a place on the bench for former Bristol City player Aaron Brown who has been with Rangers for what seems an eternity already.
