QPR Boss Holloway Aiming To Sign 4 Players In The Transfer Window?
This is London are reporting that
QPR are chasing 4 players to be signed by the end of the transfer window.
QPR manager Ian Holloway wants to bolster the spine of his team and his targets include a centre-half, a central midfielder and a striker.
Three of the players ply their trade in the
Premiership and are coming to the end of their contracts. The other plays abroad.
QPR chairman Bill Power said
We are looking at four players, apart from those we have brought in on loan. We are not going to be spending a fortune but if necessary we are willing to put our hands in our pockets. However, anyone who comes in has to be an automatic first-team pick."
QPR Blog Comment :: 4 players down the spine that must start would have to mean a new goalie to replace Chris Day, a centre back to partner
Danny Shittu - a central midfielder to partner Marc Bircham and a striker to partner Paul Furlong.
Which amounts to pretty much a whole new look side. Should be interesting if it happens. I wonder what players Holloway aims to sign?
