Ladbrokes Middlesbrough V Man Utd Betting Odds

Ladbrokes Middlesbrough V Man Utd Betting Odds

Boro vs Man Utd
Manchester Utd completed an unbeaten run in the Premiership during December, but how will they perform against Middlesbrough (11/5) at the Riverside tomorrow (Saturday)?

The "Man Utd Red Devils" are priced at Evens with Ladbrokes betting to win away, while they are 7/1 to triumph 1-0 in the correct score betting.

Steve McClaren has put a decent side together at the Boro. I think Man Utd have been fortunate to catch Boro without the services of George Boateng in midfield. Also exacerbating the Boateng injury is the possible ommittance of Ray Parlour who adds much needed aggression in the midfield area. Also I think Mark Viduka will be out of action. Dutch International Michael Reiziger should be fit to start though.

Man Utd have had Wayne Rooney get banned for 3 games and Van Nistelroy is injured, apart from that everyone seems to be fit and firing, especially Welsh Winger Ryan Giggs

Gambling Blogger Dr Schwartz Unhappy With The New York Times

Gambling Historian and Blogger Dr David Schwartz Unhappy With The New York Times

Editor of The Die is Cast Blog and head honcho of The Gaming Studies Research Centre Dr David G Schwartz is unhappy with The New York Times

The Gambling Dr is glad to be Famous for a day but he ain't too happy about having his words spliced and diced to suit the needs of NY Times reporter Andrew Sorkin.

The Gambling Dr and author of The Book Called Suburban Xanadu has kindly offered Andrew Sorkin on a tour of the strip if he wants to research another story.

Then again I think he would, his book Suburban Xanadu had an Amazon sales rank of 185'000 but has jumped to 15'000 after the New York times "story"..

Dr Schwartz is also a fully paid up member of the Las Vegas Combat Club and practisioner of Brazilian style Jujitsu.

Maybe Andrew Sorkin could meet the Dr there and do a session of jujitsi. Maybe the good Dr Schwartz would like to show him some splice and dice moves of his own?

Pathological Gambler or Compulsive Gambler?

Pathological Gambler or a Compulsive Gambler

"Dave" Wing Kit Chu, 32, will go to jail for a long time for stealing 9 million to gamble with on the spread betting.

Questions have been asked about the City Boys Gambling Spree

Jo the blogger from UK Gambling.net wrote

Wagering War Blog ain't amused either. Wagering War points out the City boys possibly are'nt as smart as they think they are.

Pathological Gambler or a Compulsive Gambler?

Was "Dave" Wing Kit Chu, 32, a Pathological Gambler or a Compulsive Gambler?
His lawyer Caroline English urged the judge to seek psychiatric reports before Wing's 'virtually inevitable' jail term.

'Bearing in mind the magnitude of the monies taken and the frequency of the transactions, it is clear this man's actions were completely out of control,' she said. Ms English called for an exploration of whether Wing suffered from what she called 'pathological gambling'.

Judge James Wadsworth QC refused by
ordering standard pre-sentence reports. 'I am satisfied on reading the papers that this is a man with a gambling compulsion,' he said. 'The court does require a pre-sentence report, but I make it plain to you that a custodial sentence is "virtually inevitable."

I can't automatically buy that so I look for some definitions of pathological and compulsive gambling in my little collection.

An Illinois Gambling Addiction Q and A reckon "Biological findings from a recent study indicate that pathological gambling is an addiction similar to chemical addiction."

Was David Wing Kit Chu a pathological gambler or a compulsive gambler? There is not much of a difference judging by the various definitions. The real difference is the difference between a 5 year prison sentence or possibly treatment as an outpatient in the Farnham General.

Seems to me Judge James Wadsworth QC has decided the outcome before reading the pre sentencing reports. Personally I would want to know whether the guy is a pathological gambler or an impulsive gambler before I make up my mind.

If "Dave" really was a "wide boy", a flash city type in a suit just giving it the large, he needs to be banged up I suppose.

If "Dave" has a medical condition he needs treatment like any other unwell person. I don't care how much money he gambled away.

Tsunami Warning - 3 Hours Before Disaster

Apparently a blogger was alerted three hours before the tsunamis struck writes blogger Loic Le Meur

(Original Blogger) French Blogger Was Warned of Tsunami 3 Hours Before the Disaster (French language)

With 25'000 people dead and counting from the deadly Tsunami, questions are going to be asked about these warnings.

I heard on the radio that American seizmologists knew the Earthquake was coming but "never knew who to ring".

I guess the knowledge that an Earthquake is imminent does not necissarily conclude a Tsunami will result.

Questions though, will be asked about the warning systems that were not in place, but were on hindsight, very obviously needed.

Klitschko Beats Williams In 8

Klitschko Beats Williams In Round 8

As i'm watching the Danny Williams V Vitaly Klitschko fight for the WBC Heavyweight Championship of the World. I figured I might aswell go round for round with the Gamblog notepad.

Round 1
- Vitaly -Dr Ironfist- Klitschko towered over Brixton born Danny Williams and immediately started getting through with the long left jab.
- Williams is staggered early on, looking very slow.
- Williams looks totally outclassed already.
- Williams down on 2.30 seconds of round 1.
- An absolute hammering for Williams in store if he stays up for long.
- Williams cut, down in the first round and unable to get a shot off.

Round 2
- Williams comes out firing.
- Williams Lack of head movement is pitiful for this level
- Mission Impossible for Williams?
- Klitschko doing as he likes. Pretty much doing the cakewalk while Williams eats jab.

Round 3
- Williams out firing hard and lands a half decent body shot and a fair left hook to the Klitscho jaw.
- Lack of Williams head movement still all too apparent.
- Williams gaining a foothold in the fight?
- Williams walks onto a left hook and is down for the second time. Saved by the bell.

Round 4
- Quiet start to the round for both fighters.
- Dangerous uppercut from Vitaly Klitschko landed.
- Williams still static in his head movement.
- Williams unable to bypass the Klitschko jab and is eating too much leather really.
- Decent Danny Williams left hook.
- Klitchko returns the favour and stuns Wiliams again.

Round 5
- After receiving specific orders from the corner to get some head movement going, Wiiliams looked more positive and soon lands his best punch of the fight.
- After a minute, Williams is being picked off at long range again by Doctor Ironfist.
- Great courage from a cut and swollen faced Williams but Klitschko is really forcing him back after dominating the centre of the ring at will. The writing is clearly on the wall, written in the blood of Williams.
- The Williams corner seem to be in no mood to consider saving their fighter by throwing the towel.

Round 6
- Klitscho bombs forward early on.
- Unreplied combinations from Vitaly on our Dan.
- Williams now just surviving in the fight sense.
- Bravery from Williams astounding as he scores with a left to the Klitschko midriff.
- Williams stumbles back to the corner after being hurt again at the bell.

Round 7
- Good start from Williams considering.
- A last throw of the dice from Danny?
- Will Klitschko get disheartened by the Williams stickability?
- Williams drops the workrate significantly.
- Klitschko has Williams rocking again with another big right hand punch.
- 1, 2, 3 more big right hands from Klitschko thrown. Last one mercifully only glances the Williams chin
- Klitscho finishes the round working the Williams body.

Round 8
- Danny Williams right eye almost swollen shut, the left eye is going too.
- Klitschko working well again.
- 2 Huge Klitscho right hands land.
- Another big right and Williams is down.
- Danny Williams bravely rises to his feet on the count of 9 and the referee waves the fight off. FIGHT OVER..
Klitschko Beats Williams In Round 8 (1.26 seconds) Klitschko Fans can smile.

Johnny Nelson classic comment on Sky Sports "Danny Williams looked like a 7 year old trying to box his dad."

Gamblog Comment :: The boy Williams was too heavy and never even looked like he should be in the ring with Klitschko.
- I want to see Danny Williams get tight and sharp and let his natural handspeed do the talking.
- I am very purturbed by the behaviour of his corner before and during the fight. It was mayhem in there with multiple people screaming allsorts of shit at him.
- Coming in at 19'4lb is a just boxing tactics gone mad.
- Danny should do the fighting without the cornermen trying to be clever.

White Man Is Back To Steal Indian Riches

"The white man of the 1800s is back.
He is the same white man who made solemn treaties with the Indians and broke them at his convenience; he is the same white man who waged genocide when Native Americans got in his way; he is the same white man who drove them onto marginal lands called reservations." Indian Gaming - White man is back to steal Indian riches

"Governor Tim Pawlenty has launched a campaign of intimidation and blackmail against the tribes in Minnesota by demanding an amount that could be half of their casino profits. If they don't surrender $350 million a year, he threatens to support a competitive casino industry in the next session of the Legislature. This in spite of the fact that he always has opposed casino gambling. But his scruples crumbled when his proposed budget lacked the revenue it needed to balance." Gamblog comment :: I don't know anything about American/Indian politics. I do know that the Kahnawake Gaming Commission are very unresponsive to online gamers complaints about some of their online gaming license carriers.

Danny Williams V Vitaly Klitschko Betting Odds

Boxing Betting - Danny Williams V Vitaly Klitschko

Fight Odds from Ladbrokes Betting
1/6 2-9 Vitali Klitschko
7/2 3-1 Danny Williams
33/1 Draw

Other Fight Odds
Vitali Klitschko By KO,TKO And Disq 1/2
Vitali Klitschko On Points 7/2
Danny Williams By KO,TKO And Disq 5/1
Danny Williams On Points 10/1

Forget the round by round betting. It is a bookies paradise apart from 1 round knockouts.

♠ Steve Collins reckons Danny Williams is on a Rocky type run and will beat Vitaly Klitschko because he has finally found his confidence.

♠ Williams has weighed in at a record breaking 19 stone 4 lb I hear. At betting odds of 7-2, I think Williams is a reasonable price for a boxing match but I worry about anyone who comes into the ring so heavy in comparison to their last fight.

♠ Vitaly Klitscho is not being underestimated whatsoever by the bookies and go a rather tight 1-6 odds on.

♠ I would rather take the odds of 33-1 for the draw because I see Klitschko as clear favourite, but as Collins says, Danny Williams is on a high at the moment.

♠ It's just gonna be a maul, just like with Klitchko V Lewis. If you must bet to watch, take the draw at 33-1 with Fight Odds from Ladbrokes and hope.

Gamblog Tip . No Bet - take the 33-1 at small stakes for the draw if you must.

Prima Poker Multiple Sign Up Warning

Prima Poker Multiple Player Sign Up Warning

If you play poker online, you will have to sign up to a poker room. You will most likely sign up under what is called a skin. All a poker skin is 1 of a network that for all intent and purposes, uses the same software linked to the 1 poker room. Enter the Prima Poker Network.

So what happens when you sign up to 1 poker skin under one username and then open another account under a DIFFERENT username at another skin in the same Prima Poker Network?

Yip, you get barred from all the poker rooms or skins in Prima. The thing is, not all Prima Poker rooms or skins make it clear what network the skin actually belongs to.

Warning - Take a look at this thread at the Poker Analysis Forums entitled a befuddling yet fairly unsurprising Account Locked At Prima For Doing What Support Told Me To Do

The thing got sorted, but the player had only signed up at different Poker Rooms in all good faith. It took Synergy, a moderator at Poker Analysis and the involvement of a Prima rep to get it solved out. Great, but not before way too much of the old backwarding and forwarding about had taken place.

Warning - If you sign up to a Prima Powered Poker Room, be sure you are not signing up to another Poker Room in the Prima Network.

Many players swear by Prima, just be careful not to sign up in mutiple usernames across the Prima Network. Always use the same username when signing up to another Prima Poker Room.

Here are the Prima Poker sites to date to watch out for so you don't sign up to more than the one.
