Goalkeeper Eddie Gustafsson On Trial At QPR

Goalkeeper Eddie Gustafsson To Trial For QPR?

I know nothing really about Swede Eddie Gustafsson apart from he is Swedish and is a goalkeeper.

Apparently Gustafsson left Danish club Molde FC not so long ago for "tax reasons"

I gather Eddie Gustafsson is about 4th or 5th in line as far as Swedish international goalkeepers go.

I read something about a reserve game being arranged on the 30th of November for Gustafsson to play on trial in? Unlikely, but possible.

QPR May Sign Jonny Dixon

QPR Talk To Jonny Dixon

Jonathan Dixon plays for Wycombe Wanderers but is on loan to Aldershot Town FC at the moment.

The Wycombe Choirboys website has better write up in their Jonny Dixon Player File than the official site, so take a look. Another Jonny Dixon Profile while i'm on the subject.

My Take on Jonny Dixon? Spanish born, 20 years old, plays up front or out wide, well liked by the Wycombe fans and affordable..

Q) Is Jonathan Dixon aka Jonny Dixon any good?
A) A punter at the QPR Forum says Jonny Dixon "was a good player in our school team". Well then, what MORE do you need to hear heheh? Sign him up!

MORE?... The QPR fan "Staines-Ranger" also is the source of this blatant transfer speculation and rumour. Staines Ranger says he has been on the phone to Jonny and confirms the boy Dixon is in talks with QPR..

QPR V Cardiff Match Report

QPR 1
Shittu 23
Cardiff 0
Attendance 15146

QPR bounced back with genuine Bouncebackability after "that" game against Leeds last weekend. With Holloway at home recovering from illness it was left to Tim Breacker to run the show and that he did.

The QPR team had no surprises in the line up really. Furlong was up front next to Jamie Cureton and the big striker missed a golden chance to put the game beyond Cardiff's reach in the 75th minute with the game at 1-0.

Danny Shittu got the winner from a corner, although not from a towering header. Gallen swung the corner in, the ball was half cleared by Cardiff and Big Danny Shittu was there to power home from just outside the box.

Cardiff centre back Danny Gabbidon should have squared the match to give Cardiff a share of the spoils, but gladly he put his header from 6 yards over the QPR bar in the 89th minute.

Summation :: Rangers held out, Holloway has a nice tonic for the evening and we are 5th in the league, 5 clear of the team below us as I write.

Beware the Fallen Ranger..

Pacquette At Brentford

Richard Pacquette Goes To Brentford

Mad Dog Martin Allen has signed Richard Pacquette on "non contract terms" whatever that means. Ex QPR boy and now Bee's manager Martin Allen is doing well at the Brentford

Good luck to the boy Pacquette. I thought he was a promising player and am fairly surprised by his footballing demise. The last game I saw Richard play is in "that" loss against Cardiff in the playoff final

Deon Burton is suspended for Brentfords game against highflying Hull so Richard Pacquette may even start.

QPR Sign Adam Miller

QPR Have Signed Aldershot Midfielder Adam Miller (22)

QPR Have Signed 22 Year Old Midfielder Adam Miller on an 18 month contract for a nominal fee according to Rangers.

Aldershot Town FC have confirmed The Sale Of Adam Miller To QPR for a club "record fee".

I highlighted the differing opinion on fees, to remind me that it could be worse. Non league club Aldershot bought Adam Miller from Gravesend FC last year.

Adam Miller scored 12 goals from the Shots midfield in 53 games, which is a decent enough return for a midfielder. Hopefully Miller can transfer that form up to a higher level.

Adam Miller is reportedly a QPR fan and cannot believe QPR have bought him. When the boy gets down off of cloud 9, he'll have some football to play. Do it and do it well son, Rangers fans are always welcome down the Loft.

Good luck Adam Miller

QPR After Mark de'Vries?

QPR After Signing Mark de'Vries?

Hearts powerhouse striker Mark de'Vries is 6'4 and a hard worker. I gather QPR have had a bid worth £100'000 turned down for the Surinam born striker. Holloway is definately chasing the big striker to cover Paul Furlong for a couple of seasons anf hopefully to replce him when he retires. Furlong is pushing 35 now I think?

Mark de'Vries has been "Hearts of Midlothian" top scorer for the past 2 seasons with a decent 30 goals in 75 games. In the Scottish premier league De Vries is well known and quite a feared striker.

I think De Vries has a clause in his Hearts contract whereby they have to offer him a new contract after 80 first team appearances. Therefore Hearts may due to financial constraints, have to let De Vries go for considerably less than his purported worth as a player.

Holloway is maybe willing to take the plunge with De Vries ~ I hope the boy is as good as the Hearts fans think he is.. Some of the Hearts fans moan De Vries is injury prone.. I hope not.

Basically the victim's witness testimony was totally unreliable.

Terrell Forbes said "the last nine months were "hell to live through" and that he now wanted to focus on his career as a footballer.

My reputation has been attacked through the last few months. I wish for all to respect my vindicated character and reputation.

The result today allows me to continue playing football, which is all I ever wanted to do."

Mighton said it was a relief that it was all over. Wallace and ex QPR trainee Shane Sutherland did not want to comment on the ruling.

QPR After Tommy Black?

QPR Watching After Tommy Black? (Unadulterated Rumour and Transfer Speculation)

Crystal Palace manager and ex QPR player Ian Dowie is rumoured to be looking to trim his squad. I think Dowie is after more quality, rather than quantity.

Sometimes when clubs reach the Premier League, they make the mistake of letting decent youngsters fall by the wayside. Dowie refuses to allow that to happen and rightfully so. In so doing Palace may be willing to let the talented Scotsman Tommy Black leave on a fee Rangers may be able to squeeze.

Black is a skillful attacking midfielder with an eye for goal. Tommy Black wants to play football regularly, not be farmed out on loan to the likes of Sheffield Utd again and again. As Black is now 23 I reckon he's ready to play regularly, or he never will be.

Lee Cook and McCleod are decent left sided midfielders, but as Rangers have found out lately, Rowlands needs proper cover on the right. Actually Rowlands has not been so hot this year, so Black may feel he has a good chance of keeping Rowlands out of the team. Black can also play left midfield and as a drop off type forward.

Tommy Black does'nt always get a start for the Palace reserves because Palace have so many players on the fringes, so much so that Holloway might have a chance of capturing a decent player to add to the Rangers squad.

We shall see..

QPR V Cardiff Pre Match Team News and Report

QPR are back home at Loftus Road this saturday to take on Cardiff

Kick off is at 12.45 for some reason, I know not why.

Fans favourite Gino Padula will play at left back I reckon. I hope he finds his feet sooner rather than later. It would be nice to see him do the samba again

Richard Langley will get a warm welcome from the Rangers fans i'm sure. Rangers need to bounce back quick after getting tonked at Elland Road. Ian Holloway said 3 of the defence that played against Leeds never trained last week. QPR and injury problems were always going to be an issue at some stage or another this season, but I am confident we can still field a strong side against Cardiff.

Leeds V QPR Pre Match Report

QPR go up to Elland Road today to take on 19th placed Leeds United

Ex Ranger Clarke Carlisle will be there. Should be fun for him seeing Rangers in playoff position, while Leeds are 2 places off of relegation. It's enough to turn a man to drink i'd say. For an intelligent man Clarke Carlisle is way off the mark in the decision making department heheh.

Bircham is back after suspension and will replace Bean in midfield. It is possible centre back George Santos won't play because of a recurrance of his dodgy achilles, so Simek may play in the centre of defence next to Shittu.

Up front it will be fans favourite Paul Furlong next to Jamie Cureton, Gallen will be partnering Bircham in midfield. Martin Rowlands is still out. Lee Cook will be on the left of midfield and I guess Matthew Rose will stay at left back.

It will be a tough game I reckon. Leeds beat Preston the other day so they may have started up a run of form. I hope not.

QPR - 1 Wigan - 0 Match Report

QPR 1
Furlong (86)
Wigan 0

QPR beat table-toppers Wigan 1-0 at Loftus Road. The Wigan fans were delighted with the return of Nathan Ellington and were pleased with the football Wigan played. They still go back to the JJB Stadium with nothing for their efforts heheh.
Paul Furlong got the only goal of the match in the 86th minute. The Wigan players can chastise themselves for not kicking the ball out when Nathan Ellington got injured. The Latics however, decided to keep the ball in play rather than put it out and promptly gave the ball away. Sub Kevin McCleod got in a cross from the left and Rangers top scorer Paul Furlong forced the ball home with a good header in off the post.

The first half saw Wigan in control and pushing hard, but they did not take their chances. Matthew Rose was all over the place at left back and Wigan attacked mercilessly down the right-hand-side over and over but to no avail.

For QPR the second half was a more even affair after the injured youngster Leighton Barnes was replaced at left back by Mcmillan. Jason Roberts should have given the Wigan the lead but he bottled it and rushed his shot when one on one with Chris Day. Padula was brought on with 15 minutes to go and did well, better than he has of late. Anyway, Paul Furlong got the winner and that was that, whether Rangers deserved the win or not.
QPR stay 5th in the league, 6 points off of Wigan who still lead. Was a big result today for the lads. 12 points off compared to 6 is massive.

QPR Want Arsenal Striker Quincy Owusu-Abeyie On Loan

Ian Holloway is searching hard for a striker to rotate with Paul Furlong before 3 games a week takes it's toll on the 35 year old Furlong. I wonder about this 3 game a week thing and realise Holloway means 3 games in 7 days. Playing on saturday, wednesday then saturday certainly is 3 games in a week.

Anyway, Quincy Owusu Abeyie scored against the Everton first team in Arsenal's 3-1 cup win. Apparently the boy "Quincy Owusu Abeyie" is arguably as quick as Thierry Henry.

West Ham Fans Celebrate Beating QPR With The West Ham Lass

Picture Of The West Ham Lass Stripper and Her Big TitsWest Ham Fans Celebrate Beating QPR By Looking At The West Ham Lass's Big Tits

The West Ham United Lass is not a tart, she is a respectable lady, well educated. The WHU Lass celebrated West Ham beating QPR on saturday by making her boob nipples go hard with a cold West Ham pint glass

As you can tell, apart from big tits, the West Ham Lass has class, elegance and lots of pubic hair. The West Ham Lass works with other West Ham fans, so wants to stay anonymous.
I caught up with this West Ham Lass website and her big tits earlier in the season and wondered whether the girl is actually a West Ham fan, or whether this is a gimmick by an online porn firm or something.

The WHU Lass website does not redirect anywhere else related to big boobs and was virus free when I visited. Thats about the best I can say apart from to confirm WHU Lass does indeed posess a decent pair of tits.

Internet Madness Warning! The big titted West Ham Lass was probably born a man.

West Ham 2 QPR 1 - Match Report

West Ham - 2
Harewood (36 pen, 84)

QPR - 1
Mcleod (72)
Att: 31,365

West Ham avenged their defeat at the Loft last month with a 2-1 win over the Ranger today with 2 goals from Marlon Harewood. After West Ham's 4-1 hammering by Cardiff midweek, they were a bit of a wounded animal really and certainly made life hard for Rangers.

QPR forwards Cureton and Thorpe started. Thorpe up front next to Furlong, Cureton down the right to replace the suspended Bignot and injured Rowlands. Ainsworth was on the bench and soon got a run. Thorpe was kicked out of the game by the highly unimpressive Repka after about half an hour or so.

Danny Shittu gave away a hotly disputed penalty on his return to the side, for a foul on Luke Chadwick in the 36th minute. Harewood beat Day easy enough and QPR were playing catch-up.

Catch-up we did in the 72nd minute with Mcleod stealing in at the back post after coming on as a straight swap for Cook. Up until that point QPR stayed in the game with a shout, despite not playing very well.

Brick-house, out-house, shit-house Harewood got them the points in the 84th minute after a shoddy clearance from a left hand cross. I don't want to talk about it.

West Ham V QPR Pre Match News

QPR Pre Match News

QPR take on West Ham tomorrow at Upton Park in another league match, just a month after Rangers beat the Hammers 1-0 at Loftus Road.

QPR's Jamie Cureton will be back in contention hopefully. I am guessing Cureton won't start the match after injury, but will be on the bench. There is a train of thought that says Cureton will start the match up front with Furlong, Gallen then moving to right midfield. I am not sold on that idea because Gallen is better down the middle I think. The right midfield issue only arises because Marcus Bignot is suspended and Rowlands is injured.

To be honest I have absolutely no idea who Holloway will play in place of Bignot. Honestly I really don't care to question who Holloway selects anyway. I am just hoping the boys keep pushing hard and take it from there.

West Ham Pre Match News

West Ham boss Pardew reckons "West Ham will cope without Reo-Coker against Rangers". I actuall thought Reo-Coker was West Ham's best player against us at Loftus Road last month so am glad to see he may not play. Even if he does he may be a bit fragile after injury. Sheringham won't play either which I think only helps QPR

Ian Holloway Is Unhappy About New Fifa Transfer Rules

Ian Holloway Unhappy With With Fifa Over New Transfer Rules.

QPR Manager Ian Holloway has condemned FIFA for their plans to impose a severe restriction on the movements of English league clubs in the transfer market.
Under the current system, Coca-Cola Championship clubs and those from Leagues One and Two are free to buy, sell and loan players at any point in the year.

But world football's governing body aims to bring the football league into line with the Barclays Premiership, whose clubs are allowed to conduct transfers only during the summer and in January, from next season.
'I think it's an absolutely crazy rule,' said Holloway. 'I think they sit in their little glass houses and throw stones everywhere else.

'The rule as it stands now is killing us. Every time I ring a Premiership club, they are unwilling to loan players because they are trading in a market place that closes down for much of the season.

'I think it is ridiculous, and whoever invented it should have nothing to do with football.'

Paul Furlong Named PFA Player Of The Month

Paul Furlong Handed PFA Player Of The Month Award

QPR Striker Paul Furlong continues to show the youngsters a thing or too and his late equaliser against Millwall last night was his 11th goal of the season.

Furlong is more than happy to be classed as a 'veteran' and told Give Me Football.com recently
"Well, everyone else is saying it so I must be. I am 35 years of age and still enjoying my football, still enjoying playing games and until that changes I will carry on enjoying what I am doing.
'I wouldn't say I am naturally fit, it's more a case of working at my fitness, in terms of looking after myself, having the right diet, and doing the right things because obviously I am getting older and have to look after myself a bit more."

Wolves Shortlist Our Holloway

The Wolverhampton Wanderers hierarchy has placed Ian Holloway on to their shortlist of managers they desire to take the vacant job at Molineux.

Lee Cook Says Adrian Serioux Deserved To Go

Queens Park Rangers midfielder Lee Cook insisted today that Millwall's Adrian Serioux deserved to be sent off for throwing the ball at his face during last night's 1-1 draw between the two clubs.

Serioux, who is renowned for his extraordinarily long throw-ins, received a straight red card in the 66th minute after launching the ball straight at Cook's head a metre from the touchline.

Cook said: 'He meant to do it. The ball hit me in the eyes, the nose, mouth and cheeks. It took me a while to realise what he had done. At first I thought the linesman was having a go at me for jumping but he saw it and the referee made the right decision."

QPR Are After Luke Beckett

Holloway Eyes Luke Beckett For QPR Role

Following recent reports linking Ian Holloway with moves for former star Les Ferdinand and Milton Keynes Dons Striker Izale McLeod

QPR MAD can announce that Ollie is hot on the heels of Stockport County striker Luke Beckett.

Beckett is out-of-contract this summer and has recently rejected a two-year contract offer to stay at Edgerley Park, in order to move to a so-called 'bigger club'.

Many Stockport regulars have been upset and infuriated by these comments leaving a sour taste in the front man's mouth.

Coventry City have been tracking the progress of the striker who has netted 47 times for County in nearly 90 appearances.

Bristol City had an approach turned down earlier in the season but a bid from Ian Holloway could not be too far away.

With the knowledge of Luke Beckett's contract close to expiring and with the player wanting to move away, the club may reluctantly accept a cut-price offer for their star asset.

Marcus Bignot Column ~ Feeling Lucky About Burnley and Millwall

The Marcus Bignot Column ~ A Lucky Feeling About The Burnley and Millwall Game
I felt unlucky last weekend when we lost to Wolves. Things just didn't go our way, and even when they were down to 10 men, the pitch was too wet to pass the ball.

But after two straight defeats, I feel our luck is going to change against Burnley. They are a very difficult team to break down, and we will have to work hard.

Then straight afterwards we have got Millwall. I watched them against Liverpool and they are a good side. They did excellently against Liverpool, and the scoreline did not do them justice. Their winger, Ex Canadian A-League Toronto Lynx Defender Adrian Serioux has an enormous throw, which is a huge asset to them.

But these are the sorts of games we look forward to, and is the reason why we got promoted. More Of Marcus Feeling Lucky

QPR V Millwall Preview

QPR Play Against Millwall on tuesday at Loftus Road.

Super Ray Wilkins will be back to see his old pal and his midfield tackler Ian Holloway. Dennis Wise will come along, he will have no impact unless he starts a fight.

Word from the supporters who were at the ground at the end of the Burnley win, report that Martin Rowlands left the club on crutches, which means he probablty won't play against the Millwall Lions. Gareth Ainsworth is still in the late stages of recovering from injury so he won't play right midfield either. He may squeeze a bench spot.

I figure Kevin Mcleod will play on the right. Branco can play right mid apparently, so can Gallen and so too can Bignot. That said, Rowlands is a big out. I would not like to see Rangers lose at home to London rivals Millwall.

Danny Shittu is still injured, so Santos and Simek will play at centre back.

Tony Thorpe is back from injury and will be on the bench. Then again if Gallen goes right midfield Thorpe may start up front with Furlong.

As it goes, we are doing well. Hopefully injuries will not hurt us. There is some bad news. QPR cannot buy any players this season because the taxman is knocking at the door. I will report on the buying situation later.
