Meet Blackjack Ken. Check your listings for World Series of Blackjack on GSN TV.

Q: What is your name or online moniker?

A: A rarity among gambling authors, I use my real name in my writing. I'm Ken Smith.

Q: What organisation or website do you represent or own?

A: I have three websites: Blackjack Info.com Slot Charts.com and Blackjack Tournaments.com

Q: Could you explain what your organisation or website offers the public?

A: Blackjack Info.com provides a Basic Strategy Engine, where you can input the blackjack rules of your favorite casino and get a free blackjack strategy chart accurate for that particular game. The Strategy Engine was the main attraction when the site was first created in 1996, and it continues to be a popular part of the site.
In addition, there's a free Blackjack Strategy Trainer game that allows you to practice for any set of rules, and the Strategy Coach advises you of any basic strategy mistakes for that particular game.
There are lots of sites out there offering blackjack strategies, but BlackjackInfo remains the best place to get strategies customized for any game.

Slot Charts.com is truly a one-of-a-kind site. It offers a unique perspective on online casino progressive jackpots. For each game, you can see the current value, but also a lot of information about past history. You'll see the average hit value, how long it's been since the last jackpot and how long it typically lasts before being hit.
In addition, you can see a graph of the values over the last few months. One of the most popular features of the site is a list of progressive video poker games on the Net, ranked by percentage return. At a glance, you can see which games offer the best opportunities online.

Blackjack Tournaments.com is the newest addition, launching in November 2003. It's a growing community of avid tournament players, sharing blackjack information and strategies.

Q: Any comments as to the current state of play regarding the online gaming industry?

A: The online gaming industry continues to struggle due to the legislative uncertainties in the US. It's a real pity that the US hasn't stepped in to create a regulatory environment where the industry could thrive. It seems ironic to me that players have a better shot at winning online, as many of the games offer odds more favorable than land-based casinos, yet the current US government policies cast such a shadow over online gaming that most players aren't willing to participate.
A recent Gallup poll shows that only 1 percent of Americans wager online. There's a big market there, and I'd love to see the floodgates opened.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add that is pertinent to yourwork online or off?

A: An exciting recent development for me is my participation in a televised blackjack tournament for GSN, the former Game Show Network. Episodes are currently airing several times per week, with a new premier each Monday evening on GSN
My episode will first broadcast on April 12th, 2004. Check your listings for "World Series of Blackjack".

♠ Very much obliged to you for answering my questions Ken.

Gamblog Comment:
I will add Ken is very much on the ball and is a player advocate who recently highlighted a half a million dollar glitch perpetrated by the Playtech Software Platform, which due to his due diligence was cleared up to the players satisfaction no sweat.

New Layout For The Hand History In Online Poker Sites

Design by Fire Blogger and Designer Andrei Herasimchuk has posted a new layout for the hand history sent to players upon request at most of the large online poker sites.

I like anything that makes for a better gaming experience for online gamblers. I think this is an improvement for Poker Players so I decided to ask a few other gaming webmasters I know who play poker a lot.

I begged the Question : Andrei Herasimchuk has designed a clearer format for the hand history of the major online poker sites hand history on the article : hand history proposal for online poker sites(removed webpage) : do you agree his format is clearer and easier to read and decipher for the online poker player?

I got a couple of replies..

♣ I am Stephen Erickson, webmaster of Born To Bet and avid poker player. Born to Bet is dedicated to giving straight forward, honest answers and information about online gaming and offering a contrast to many of the current sites out there. It opened late last year and has slowly been growing since. I also would say I work by playing poker. I put in well over 40 hours a week at the money tables. I play mainly fixed limit games but also some no limit games and a few sit and gos as well to keep things interesting.

♣ I think it is much easier to read and less confusing than the old standard for hand histories. However, I very rarely look at the actual emails I request. I, like many players who play a lot of online poker, bought a program which analyses the hands for me. I request the hands and load them into the program. Then I can replay hands or entire sessions, see how much money I win with different hands, etc. So, one of my main concerns is that if you change the way hand histories are shown, these programs must still be able to read them properly and import them into the stats. I think the majority of players who download hand histories do the same and it is only occasionally that someone downloads one hand to look at and see what happened. So it concerns me whether any change would be a smooth transition. Overall, I'd say that it is easier to read but the most important thing to me is that I can import the hands easily and quickly so I can look at hundreds or thousands of hands at one time, not just one. So, if it can be done without affecting that, I'd say it's a great idea. But, if it would take upgrades and changes to the programs, I'm not sure that it is worth the effort. ♣

♠ ♠ I'm Ellen Royston-Ing, my husband Dean and I have over 30 websites, 7 of which are strictly poker oriented. One of our newest and most sucessful sites is Poker Tournaments Online where we have a live search engine for the most popular online poker rooms. It updates every 5 minutes and lets you know how long 'til each tournament. I have been a poker player for most of my life. I've played in the Women's WSOP and several big tournaments. Placing in the money with many. I now spend most of my poker time online, since moving to Australia with not much land based action around.

♠ ♠ There is no doubt that the hand history proposal for the online poker rooms would benefit a lot of poker players. It is much easier to read, I can't tell you how many times I've received one and it took ages to try to figure out! Just spacing out each play (ie. the flop, turn, river etc.) makes it easier to read, and needless to say much quicker.
I don't use the hand history too often, but when I do, it would be nice to scan through it and find what I'm looking for fairly quick. I'm not real sure if the poker rooms would be willing to put the time in to change it a bit, although I do think it's a great idea. ♠ ♠

It's not quite unanimous. I will be gathering more thoughts on this and want your comments. See if we can't help get this ball rolling.

Michael Owen versus Alan Shearer, who should retire first?

Alan Shearer or Michael Owen, who should retire first?

Granted Shearer is old and Owen is not. However, while Newcastle and Shearer were powering their way through to the next round of the UEFA Cup, Michael Owen and Liverpool limped off down the tunnel all bashed up yet again.

In fact we are all hamstrung, not just Owen and Houllier Than Though (who might aswell have called the ref a cheat with what his excuse is for Liverpool bowing out). Shearer is still the most effective English striker but has retired from International football citing he needs the rest and the time to spend with his family.

Alan, Mr Shearer - why the hell do you do the commentary on every England match then? Just go home or get your kit on old boy, you sir are having a laugh ♣

Tell me i'm wrong.

World Figure Skating Championships 2004 and Roller Skating

I have stumbled upon a roller skating blog called Wayne's Derby World, reminded me of that 1975 cult film Rollerball

Roller skating reminds me of ice skating, both of which I can't do. As the World figure skating championships have not long ended this is as good a time as any to send you to check out the 2004 World Figure Skating Championships website. I have'nt found bookies offering prices on roller skating or ice skating, but what the hell, I don't care.

How A Real Gambling Regulator Would Have Handled The US$1.3 Million Hampton-Pirate Dispute

Bet2Gamble boss CM Booth has it nailed regardless of what anyone thought or thinks regarding the Pirate issue.

A peice that all casino operators who like to mess players about should read - what a Gambling Regulator has to say on the matter.

Yes you tyrants, you know who you are, you should print it off and stick it on your bedpost.

U.S. loses WTO ruling covering online gambling

Banning Internet Gambling just won't work. All very odd indeed.

U.S. loses WTO ruling

I found this report first on Gambling911

Chelsea v Arsenal Champions League. 0 - 0 Bore Draw Expected.

Blogfc reckon Claudio Ranieri has his charges fired up "no doubt" for this mega clash of the Premier League clubs leading two Arsenal and Chelsea.

A two legged affair, first blood to be drawn at Chelsea's Stamford Bridge tonight, it's expected to be a barnstormer. Tight affairs as these are, hyped to the full, pressure on, I am expecting a bore draw.

Yawn.

Arcades and Kids and Flash People

Whenever I go to the seaside in the UK I bump into kids and flash people that hang around the arcades and the bingo telling me how to play the machines. Kids should be banned from gambling esablishments anyhow.

I see the Unbranded Presenter Ian Collins has given this a mention on Talksport Radio and highlighted the ChavScum site as they appear to have the answer nailed..

Sovereign rings have a lot to answer for it seems.

Who knows heheh?

Mirror.co.uk - RITZ CASINO HIT BY 1.3M POUND LASER SCAM

Mirror.co.uk have reported that a gang of 3 have been arrested for cheating via a laser , a mobile phone and some swift betting on the roulette tables. Apparently there is no law against cheating in casino's the story reports heheh.

Nevertheless the gang have been captured anyway. I quite like Jeff Edward's final quote, " Whether it is a crime at all is a moot point because the scanner does not actually interfere with the wheel or the ball."
"In the end, the only thing that the Ritz may be able to do is refuse to allow them in."
The casino refused to comment.

Meet the Goddess of Online Gambling

Q: What is your name or online moniker?

A: Goddess

Q: What organisation or website do you represent or own?

A: My websites cater to women and gaming. I originally launched the Gamble Goddess in early 2001, due to the fact that statistics said online gamblers were predominantely women but nobody was catering to this niche market. I relaunched this site in 2003 under The Gamble Goddess My lastest project, and the one I am most excited about is the Women's Poker Club

Q: Could you explain what your organisation or website offers the public?

A: The Womens Poker Club was formed as I myself love the sport of Poker and know there are many women out there who would like to learn to be more competitive players but need a relaxed and congenial atmosphere to do it in. There are plenty of male players who don't feel that women should be at the table. Its ludricous, but I have experienced their condescending opinions myself. Many male players do not take their female opponents seriously. I want to encourage more women to become skilled competitors at poker by giving them a womens only venue so they can concentrate on improving their game.

Q: Any comments as to the current state of play regarding the online gaming industry?

A: Poker is hot right now. There are many members of Womens Poker Club that have been playing for six months or less. This is due in part to the large selection of poker software on the internet, the fact that you play with other players money and not the house which I think offers more trust to the players, and the WSOP being broadcast on tv. Also, where someone may not venture forth into a poker room to sit down and learn the game, the online experience is more anonymous and is less intimidating. We have many females in the club who play on male avatars or use male nicnames for example.

As far as the industry in general, it seems to always be in a flux. Eventually regulation will take care of the majority of gaming sites that may be shady and unethical, but until that time there will always be instances that are suspect in online gaming. That isn't to say that there aren't trustworthy sites out there, but a gambler should be prudent enough to do some research before venturing into an online casino today.

Q: Is there anything else you would like to add that is pertinent to your work online or off? (ie a plug) ♣

A:If you are a female who enjoys playing poker the Women's Poker Club is free to join and we run tournaments every Thursday.

Thankyou to the Goddess, I am much obliged for your time good lady.

Land Casino "SANDS" Overpays A Gambler $1.4 Million

Look what I found on Naughty Alex's Weblog

The Sands land casino overpayed Umar Siddiqui from Palo Alto a whopping $1.4 million via a bank wire and he has refused to pay it back. They have sued him for the funds which sounds fair enough to me.

It's not a new story but it's the first i've heard of it.

To be honest this story is difficult to get to the bottom of regarding the outcome of the court case but still, it's interesting to me because to be blunt I am rather pro player when possible. Well I'm a player and don't own a Casino so I am bound to be a bit biased no?

No one ever overpayed me $1.4 million so I can't comment on what it feels like to be told it must be returned, as the casino have obviously insisted.

I was under the impression gambling debts are not recoverable by law anyhow. I'm no legal eagle so I won't be jumping up and down shouting what gives here regarding whether it is actually a gambling debt or in fact a payment error.

Instead you can read the original story of the Casino That Overpayed $1.4 million and make up your own mind on the technicalities for yourselves.

Where Are The Quality Gambling Blogs?

Gamblog.co.uk Gambling Blog has been going about a month or so now. With the kind help of the Cre8asite forums blog section moderator Bragadocchio I have managed to get the software working and have embarked upon searching out some decent gambling blogs.

Type in gambling blog into Yahoo or Google or whatever and you get nothing but tosh comment spam saying gambling this and gambling that but hardly any gambling blogs of note that are more than just your run of the mill advertising frenzy. Advertising is fine and all but if I want a gambling portal I already know where to find them.

What i'm gonna do is get some interviews going with some of the more highly renowned gambling webmasters and casino/ sportsbook/ bingo executives to fill the void. Hell the gambling forums hold a bundle of quality information so that's where i'm going to search for some decent information for anyone who stumbles across gamblog.co.uk.

If you run a quality gambling blog do me the favour of dropping me a line and talk to me for Pete's sake.

Henrietta Knight's Best Mate joins the horseracing greats

Henrietta Knight's superstar horse Best Mate squeezed home after being boxed in 2 out to win his 3rd consecutive Cheltenham Gold Cup. Holding a tight line up the inner all the way round in search of better ground he nearly came a cropper but like a true champion would not be denied for love nor money.

Rewriting history to join some of the horseracing greats of the past like the great ARKLE and the indomittable (5 Time Gold Cup Winner) GOLDEN MILLER Best Mate has proved his worth in no uncertain terms.

Trainer Henrietta Knight has said Best Mate will be going for a fourth Gold Cup next year and I for one will not be surprised to see him pull it off again, even though he will be 10 years old come next year.

A quality horse who is a true great - class in a cup!

Betfair Punter loses 137,000 pounds on 1 horse race

Quoted by The Sun reporter Harry Macadam as the barmiest bet ever, a Betfair punter lost 137,000 pounds laying a horse to lose "in running" to win a grand total of 137.

Ede was placed fourth and floundering at the time in the 3oclock at Plumpton and looked beaten. The layer offered odds of 999-1 for the horse to win the race and must have been shocked to see the favourite Pilca in the race fall while in front, followed by Ede getting his second wind and passing the 2 other runners (Koyaanisqati and Victory Sign) left in the race to get up on the line.

Betfair has courted controversy by allowing punters to lay horses to lose. What has possibly transpired is unscrupulous trainers alledgedly running lame horses knowing full well they can lay the horse to lose without a worry of losing out. All very sad indeed.

In fact just last week punters were laying a dead horse (Jair du Cochet) to lose on the P2P betting exchanges. How sad is that eh?

Of course the big bookies don't really like Betfair and Betdaq etc stating layers on Betfair and the like don't have to pay the taxes they do to run legitimate licensed betting shops. Sour grapes?... Probably not actually because they are happy to battle for business with Index Betting firms who also allow punters to bet on horses to lose rather than win.

Man Utd Manager Alex Ferguson Can Stand The Heat Of Defeat !

Manchester United dramatically bowed out of the European Champions League before the quarter finals of the competition with a 1-1 home draw against Portugese side FC Porto. Highly maligned Phillip Neville gave away the costly free kick, which was saved by the keeper and then nipped home by Porto midfielder Costinha.

Selling David Beckham was clearly not a good move judging by Man UTD's league form and Euro cup exit who not only was their most creative player but was highly influential over the performance of those around him. The absence of Roy Keane was always buffered somewhat with Beckham in the side, even if out played out wide, his absence is notably noticable of late to say the least.

Ferguson by rights does not need the hassle of managing a club where the board are not fully in his corner, as will be the case when Magnier and Co pipe up, but he loves and lives for the involvement and will stand the heat of defeat until kicked out of the door, probably with his 100 year old congratulatory letter from the Palace clutched firmly in his hand .. I jest (sic)

Another $1 million winner. This gambler will even get paid.

$2m payout for brave punter who bet on Lonhro

MELBOURNE - An international punter who gambled A$1 million (S$1.3 million), recouped his stake and more than half that again yesterday when Lonhro won his final Melbourne race in the 2,000-metre Australian Cup at Flemington.

Sportingbet gaming officials confirmed last week that they had taken the A$1-million bet at A$1.55, meaning the stallion's win gave the gambler a profit of A$550,000 (S$715,000).. Read The Whole Report

What the newspaper report does'nt mention is the horse only won by a short short head and at the odds of EVENS, not the 4-6 or so price the gambler took when laying the bet.... Ouch.

1.3 Million Dollar Casino Fiasco Over!

The Pirateof C21 has been paid.. Good stuff.

Pirate

1.3 Million Dollar Casino Fiasco reaches the press

The 1.3 Million Dollar Casino Fiaco is nearing resolution. The fact my fear that it will be a non disclosure type deal are seemingly coming to fruition. I am glad to say the Pirate will get paid, if not all he won, but he will get paid. I am convinced it is the right result come the end game.

MSNBC reporter Mike Brunker has covered this story well enough.

1.3 Million Dollar Casino Fiasco.

February 7, 2004 : Million Dollar Gamblers Bad Joke.

Casino gambling message board quip costs online gambler a million dollars.

RTG powered online casino called the Hamptons have voided as I write a 1.3 million dollar Caribbean Blackjack 21 winner. The Hamptons casino initially started paying the big gambler around $4000 a week off the debt but alas the player decided to pop by the Casino Meisters posting forum. Signing up as the Pirateofc21 was the first bad move. Later the player made some rather gloating type comments about his big winning streak at the casino and obviously spoke the magic words. Exactly what those magic words were are not entirely clear but the casino have decided they are not going to pay the winner.

Talk of robot play have come to light which the casino expressly forbid use of in thier terms and conditions, but to date no actual proof of any wrongdoing by the player have surfaced. Gambling portal owners and gamblers alike have advised the player to put a sock in it, get a decent lawyer and stop posting on the boards completely. Pity the player ever posted to be honest. I have no idea if the player actually used a robot and while RTG or thier Casinos are not my cup of tea, I cannot rightfully accuse them of cheating this gambler in light of some of his posts at the Casino Meisters.

A quote from a long time respected message board poster and gambler mentioned "the player has unfortunately entered the Online Casino twilight zone". The unregulated nature of online gambling renders the posters comments as sadly all too true.

I will be keeping a sharp eye on developements on this one because the casino have yet to prove the player did anything wrong apart from some trash talk by a very happy gambler with a curious sense of humour.

February 23, 2004 : 1.3 Million Dollar Casino Winner Dispute Update.
Written by HK Gambler. Just a gambling guy from Hong Kong who's words I love to read. Casino Fiasco / Update

Reproduced by kind permission of HK Gambler who first posted his thoughts at the Winneronlineforum (spelling errors and handwriting style left unedited)

There had been discussions over the past weeks regarding the fiasco. Sure this is the most concerning event Ive ever read so far. Whether or not Pirate of Caribbean 21 would be able to collect his winnings in the end, he certainly has become the Legend of Century 21, even though its likely that he is going to pay a huge price.

I think Pirate is fundamentally a wise guy who does crazy & silly things. The silliest thing Pirate had done was to dare win big from an online casino. You cant! Be they RTG, MG, Crypto or whatever. This is online gambling nature. Yeah people can win huge jackpots and got paid. Because jackpot money is accumulated out of players pockets, already made to be claimed. Casinos are set up to welcome youcough... to lose big. They will seek every nook & cranny to escape the million dollar debts even if their pockets are deep enough. Try to imagine, the purpose of casino operations is for making a million, you see if they can write off a million that they lost, they have actually made one. That is, if Pirate had not made his port & crew posts, Hampton is certainly going to not pay him. Hampton was just trying desperately to find one excuse, by way of the slow process of weekly paying him. Lucky then for Hampton to have Pirate posted crazily. Even if they cant find one, they make one.

This is human nature as well. Everybody can act like gentlemen when the money involved isnt large enough. Thats it. So this time, Phoenician is praiseworthy to have paid Pirate neat & fastJust in case they are losing like Hampton, they might be tempted to do the same. (oh, just wild guess, unfounded presumptions). Of course they might not have been as greedy & brainless as Hampton to have let Pirate bet $10,000's.

One important question is: Is RTG, as a software vendor who permits licenses to, and receives royalties from their licensees; who sells the whole business package of operating solutions ranging from the technical software, to support; financial processing; as well as marketing, held DIRECT & LEGAL responsibility to pay off Pirate in case Hampton fails to do so?

I think no. I know this view might not make myself popular. ONLY IF RTG & Hampton are in partnership, where they share some stated % of the entitys profit and loss, then yes. In other words, Hampton, being themselves the owners & decision makers, are solely responsible for their debts. Other than themselves, no other should be legally binded to pay for their liabilities.

My analogy is that RTG & its licensees are like father & sons relationship. Once the sons are on the edge of fatality because of severe debts, the father would still be expected to step in to resolve, paying off in whole or in part. Not because the laws require him to, the reality or probably the morality does. Otherwise, his son dies which eventually will hurt the whole family.

That can explain why RTG stepped forward in 2002 to handle the debts of merlins, etc. and to receive complaints regarding other RTG casinos. But to unveil, they just worked for their own benefits under the reality. That time, RTG showed the world the ethics, won themselves some handclaps. This time, I hope RTG will do the same. Not saying they bear any direct or legal responsibility. Show us the morals again, the verve, the demeanor, the fatherhood. Exert the pressure real hard on Hampton, know youve done already. All in all, work out a justified plan to pay the legit (unless proven not) 1.3m winner at once, supposing RTG pays in part and/or grants loans to Hampton. Its all for the holy name of online gambling, and for the priceless goodwill of RTG.

thanks HK, thanks also to Max

February 25, 2004 : 1.3 Million Dollar Gambling Fiasco - Joeyl's Conclusion.

Big money gamblers gambling in a Casino .. The Matador does not always win ... The Casino just lost.

I am jumping the gun on purpose. The casino need to pay the player and as soon as possible in my opinion. In my eyes the casino have not behaved impeccably but they can be forgiven and can emerge from this fiasco lighter in the pocket but stronger for the exposure.

You see after all of this if they pay up the 1.3 million dollars big gamblers will feel more comfortable gambling there than when Hamptons were virtually unheard of in the online gambling world.

The player did not use a robot in my opinion. What he did was figure he'd spotted a flaw in the gameplay and took full advantage. Whether he'd spotted a flaw in the game or even thought he noticed a pattern is immaterial as gamblers lose millions on hunches every day, 1 thing for sure was he grew balls of steel off of his hunch.

He sat down with his hunch, his game plan and he won loads all over the place, 20k here, 30k there and 10k at the other, he also cashed out without much problem. What was he to do now?.. Stop playing?.. Retire?.. Not likely.

He gambled on and on probably getting might lucky on a high variance game with a casino crossing thier fingers day by day hoping the high roller would do the lot. The casino made the fatal mistake of gambling with thier own games at too high stakes. The fact they asked the big gambler to wager another whole load more credits before he can cashout says it all. What were they to do with 250,000 dollar sessional swings up and down? What if he won 25 million? They trusted the game alright. They already owed him 6 years worth of payouts. Effectively the Pirate had won the casino.

The Pirate of Caribbean 21 said he would sell them a robot to beat the software out of Cobol. He might as well have said he could straighten up the Leaning Tower of Pisa with a well placed 21ft scaffolding tube and a block of wood.

This is over for me until the result of the player versus Hamptons casino, which I will update come the end game. I wish the player well and hope Hamptons realise it's just all in the game! The Matador does not always win ....

Fruit Machines That Cheat?

February 19, 2004 : Fruit Machines That Cheat?

The secondary gambling opportunuty offered on UK fruit machines are apparently illegal.

According to fairplay-campaign.co.uk the secondary gambling opportunity offered on some UK style fruit machines are illegal because they are not actually any type of gamble atall in the true sense of the word. The 70 % or higher advertised payouts on these type of fruit machines are fine but the hi low or double or nothing gambles are apparently against the law.

UK players will know they are likely to pull a 1 when opting to gamble higher than a 2 but we take it for granted that it's just the way it goes. Afterall, gambling is fixed no? Well there are laws regarding these kind of things, even if they are not policed properly or are only voluntary participation by nature.

I will quote from the fairplay campaign site "Where fruit machines DO fall foul of the law, though, is in being criminally fraudulent - that is to say, claiming that a particular feature is a "gamble" when in fact there is a zero chance of the player winning. This is entirely against the law".

Read thier stuff, check out the fruit machine emulators they have for download on your pc, see what you think

My Bugbear - mobile phone gambling on bugs, bugs me.

Bug Match
Watching ITV's Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here UK reality tv show, in a jungle somewhere around Australia way, over the past week or so, you bet I could'nt help noticing a gamble on offer. Live on ITV2 between 4 and 8 o'clock in the evening an interactive player mobile phone game called Bug Match can be played for prizes of £50.

During the hours of 4 and 8 means kids are at home from school and not in bed yet. Let's just call it bad timing.

Bug Match Game Objective
Aptly named Bug Match the idea of the game is to match 2 of the pictures of insects that are hidden from view on a grid of 12, alphabetically arranged so you can choose 2 letters and see if they match bug to bug. A bit like the card game of snap or better still find the pairs, remember the one where all the cards are randomly placed face down flat? You have to memorise the upturned cards and where they are as you play, so you can find pairs of the same numbers.

Right well you just guess from A-L and send in your 2 guesses by text, if you pick the right 2 letters you get 100 points, if you are the first to guess right. On a sliding scale, the next quickest player to guess the right pair of letters, gets 99 points, and so on down to 75 and there everyone gets the same.

The bugs change position every now and then so therefore the letters do too - all very clever don't you think? This carries on for 10 minutes and you can play over and over to see if you end up with the most points, if you do you win £50.

Consider over a 10 minute period, texting in 2 letters over and over to give your self a chance at winning the £50. With each text costing a costly 50 pence, I cannot see how with the hundreds of players playing live on terrestrial tv, how anyone in thier right mind who can count will join in.

Bug Match Game Cost
Consider i've seen the leaderboard at the end of the ten minute games reach over 3000 points for the leading player I am thinking thats atleast a very conservative 30 calls.

1 player x 30 calls x 50p = £15
£15 to win £50
Approx 3 - 1 shot Jackpot against maybe hundreds of players gives an overound of an unguessable amount.

Gamblog Comment :: Nice work if you can get it. Why do people play these silly games? How it is allowed live on interactive mainstream television?

Problem Gaming at it's finest - how one can stop kids ringing in on Mums, Dads or thier own mobile phone is a mystery.

Gamblog Comment :: It is just not going to happen in my opinion, but I saw ITV advertise it with my own 2 eyes. If this goes ahead there will be hell to pay somewhere down the line.
