Berti The Turkey Saved From Chop By Vegetarian Prize Raffle Winners

Berti The Turkey was saved from chop by veggies after he was won in the St Mary's Church in Charlton Adam, Somerset "prize raffle" by 30 year long vegetarians Ray and Maura Stroud.

The Stroud couple had nowhere to put Berti so they called up Viva - the Vegetarians Voice for Animals who found Berti the lucky turkey a home with some rescued battery hens, until a permanent placement can be found for him.
