Who Is Charlie McCann? (he makes the bookies look like rookies I hear)

I don't know a whole load about the boy McCann. I do know that horseracing tipster Charlie McCann is definately a scouser.

Charlie is an ardent Everton fan.
McCann's claim to fame is he knows the boy Wayne Rooney. Aside from that he is a tipster of the horseracing variety.

I think I first heard Charlie on the Hawksbee and Jacobs Show a good 18 months, maybe 2 years ago now. Then again it could have been on the Richard Kaufman show. Anyway talkSPORT radio covered a horseracing meeting every day. They went through the card by cutting to the start of every race and needed a tipster and racing expert. Along came "Charlie McCann".(mispelt~ mc'can, mc'cann, macan, macann, mccan)
Charlie McCann had a reasonable record on the "live" radio covered horseraces. Charlie won money for charity. Charlie brought the racing news and still does to this day.

Okay so I am slightly annoyed that Charlie McCann now charges for his horseracing tips via talkSPORT radio and some new age text set up. £1 a text and all that, you know the drill, auto arrival of tips from Charlie charged to your mobile bill. That's about all I know of the tipster that makes the bookies look like rookies, Charlie McCann.
