Tim Breacker was sent from the dugout to the stands yesterday in QPR's 2-1 defeat at Preston. Police were needed to seperate 2 teams worth of brawling players and management, but the referee managed to single out Breacker for the boot.
Police were needed to separate the two parties, who had become incensed by a scuffle involving QPR's spiky midfielder Marc Bircham and Preston's Eddie Lewis
QPR Manager Says Breacker Was Wrongly AccusedRangers manager Ian Holloway claimed former QPR and West Ham full-back Breacker was an innocent party in the melee that followed and hopes the red card can be rescinded.
"Tim's an honest fellow and he says that he restrained someone who threw a punch," Holloway said. "I'm not sure how good the referee's view was. We'll have to wait and see."
