Richard Johnson Has Been Sent On Loan To The Wimbledon Of Milton KeynesAustralian international Richard Johnson is off to the Milton Keynes Dons for a 1 month loan. Johnson, a hard working midfielder has'nt really done very much at Rangers and to be honest, I can't work out whether he is a ballwinner or a playmaker.
MK Dons manager Stuart Murdoch is apparently short of midfielders and Johnson will be looking to help out the Dons and himself in the process by getting a run of games under his belt.
I hope Richard Johnson does well at MK Dons I think there is room in QPR's midfield for a decent midfielder who can pass the ball around and create stuff while Bircham runs around tackling everyone.
At 5'10 Johnson and Bircham really would be short on a bit of height and I prefer Marcus Bean to play next to Bircham. Marcus Bean is big enough and fast but he too has'nt impressed me as being a decent ballwinner or a creator. Pretty much explains why Gallen at 5'11 has ended up in midfeild. Gallen can pass and is quetly more physical than his gentle shooting style suggests.
Marcus Bean is a promising youth who got the young players of the year award accolade from the fans. He is noted by the club as being a combative midfielder who breaks up the opposition attacks well. I think Richard Johnson is probably in the same kind of mould, as is Bircham so maybe it is best for Johnson to leave QPR, who knows? I gather MK Dons will be looking to extend Johnson's loan period.
