QPR went down 2-1 tonight at
Preston to end our 7 game winning run. QPR were after a club record 8 wins in a row but we stumbled at the last hurdle.
I am not privvy to why Rose was on the bench with Gino Padula back in at left back. If it was a selection not borne out of injury Ian Holloway will have to wonder whether he made the right decision playing Gino because it was Padula's handball in the 78th minute that proved decisive.Richard Cresswell scored the penalty.
I think Kevin Mcleod played up front with Furlong in place of the injured Cureton. Gallen must have therefore stayed in midfield.
The ref gave 2 penalties to Preston but David Healy missed the first. Healy scored the equaliser after QPR's scorer Santos flopped in defence by apparently allowing the Preston goalkeepers clearance to bounce over his head.
We have Wolves next and I don't care who Holloway plays. All I want is the boys to keep pushing the level of their performances, without trying too hard and ruining their form, therefore causing panic and then plummet.
Beware the Fallen Ranger!
