Frank Simek Is "Terrific" says Holloway
Frank Simek who?
1) Frankie Simek is an Arsenal reserve player.
2) Frankie Simek is only 20 years old.
3) Frankie Simek is from America and plays at centre back. Simek was noticed by fellow centre back Tony Gale when he was 12 and soon joined the Arsenal academy.
4) Frankie Simek played for QPR on wednesday after meeting the rest of the QPR players on tuesday
5) Frankie Simek pleased Ian Holloway no end on his first start for QPR, which ain't easy to do.
If QPR sign him permanently I will be very surprised. Apparently Frank is earmarked by Arsenal as one to watch in the future and is probably only on loan gaining 1st team experience.
Let's hope the boy Simek keeps pleasing Holloway. He replaced Danny Shittu who was injured. Maybe Simek will keep his place if Shittu returns from injury because Santos had a bad game, even though he scored the opener against Preston.
