Gambling Grumbles Re-opens

Good news for casino players. Gambling Grumbles has re-opened in memory Of Julie Sidwell

Julie Sidwell used to run the gambling grumbles section of gambling.com and did so with an even hand. Julie passed away early this year and will be fondly remembered by those who knew of her work.

Julie is lived by her husband Herb Sidwell and has decided to carry on with Julie's work in her memory. I hope Herb can keep up with all of the Gambling Grumbles

Herb Sidwell's Words About His Wife, The Late Julie Sidwell

"As the recognized Player - Advocate within the gambling community, she stood tall and was admired and appreciated by those who came to know her.

In truth, she was only 5'4 in structure weighing less than 100 pounds. She was confined to a wheel chair for many years as the result of numerous back surgeries engendered by a fall from her horse.

Though bedridden 80% of the time and suffering with chronic pain, she worked relentlessly sending emails by the thousands to players and casino owners in her efforts to promote equitable and fair Dispute-Resolutions.

Her undeviating message struck home and soon she was speaking at seminars and accepting offers throughout the world from casino owners seeking her assistance in training and restructuring their customer support departments. Her motto was "If I am going to hurt, it might as well be in London Baby!" So, when the calls came, bags started flying and she affixed a bright smile on her face and out the door we went!

Julie endeavored to bring Players and Casinos Owners to the realization they needed to diligently work together toward and insist on "fair-gaming". She was disturbed by reputable casino owners being labeled as scoundrels and thought by helping players learn how to identify the rogue operators it would benefit the entire industry.
