England V Azerbaijan Pre Match Analysis and NewsEnglish football fans will be expecting an easy win against Azerbaijan in our round 6
Fifa world cup 2006 qualifier to be played on the 13th of October (wednesday) in the Tofig Bakhramov Stadium in Baku Azerbaijan.
Much ado about who will replace the injured and suspended Beckham.
(1) Will it be Wright Phillips as a straight replacement?
(2) Will it be Ledley King at left-back with Ashley Cole at left midfield in a 4-4-2 formation. Hargreaves on the right and Defoe dropping to the bench?
(3) Will Joe Cole come into the midfield slot left by Beckham's outage?
(4) Hargreaves as a straight replacement for Beckham?
Who knows? I gather Sven will not play with 3 strikers and Wright Phillips as a replacement for Beckham because I doubt if Sven will drop Defoe. I don't think he'll put Joe Cole in to replace Beckham. I don't reckon he'll play Ledley King at left back either. In the end there's Hargreaves to play in the centre as a replacement for Beckham. I think that's what Sven will go for.
