England U21's take on the Welsh tomorrow night in a group 6 qualifier and are needing the win after 2 away defeats on the bounce. A home defeat would be disastrous for England U21 manager Peter Taylors young charges.
It's about time England won something to replace the big talk and mainstream media hype. That starts from the bottom upward.
Peter Taylor is optomistic England can perform well and starts with the slightly out of form Jonathan Stead. Taylor said of Stead
"Jonathan Stead will play, I've been very impressed with Jonathan".
"He's been disappointing in front of goal, that's the only thing, but that's happened for Blackburn and the Under-21's".
"I think the only thing missing from his game is a goal and a bit more confidence when he does score - I'm hopeful he can play on his home ground and get us a goal.
