Text Gambling Live On C4
My Text Gambling Bugbear is still alive and kicking. It was my first post on gamblog a while back and the C4 Big Brother programme now uses this form of Text Gambling/Quiz For Prizes and is doing so Live On Mainstream Television (C4).
I have been watching some Big Brother and am amazed to see that people text in thier selections over and over to try and win £50 costing a mere 50 pence a text.
As I said then when dealing with the Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Bug Match Text Competition and as I say it again now ~ it is just way too easy for a child to get hold of mums or dads mobile phone or indeed use their own that is linked to mums or dads phone bill to run up a bill of ridiculous proportions.
While soppy newspaper reporters are jumping on the anti internet gambling bandwagon I have not see ANYONE question this form of text gambling, even though the thing is live on mainstream television.
When you see text gambling ignored by the press but newspaper reporters coming forward with "stories" of people apparently having to remortgage their houses to pay credit card bills run up by errant children gambling on the internet, one wonder what the real agenda is.
Text gambling live on the box compared with stories of children stealing credit cards, stealing passwords and then gambling away the house is no contest, a no brainer.
No chance that these parents have gambled away their houses under each others noses and then blame it on the 12 year old in a vain attempt to avoid paying the debt ~ oh no ~ yeah right.
Text gambling live on the box via any mobile phone one can get their hands on is a bugbear of mine and the shit is going to hit the fan in a big way one day ~ only then will nonsense reporters jump on the anti text gambling live on mainstream television bandwagon but by then someone will have made a mint and it will be all too late.
