Sport Talk | Mike Parry Hails Wayne Rooney
Talk Sport Radio director of programming, or whatever Mike Parry's title is, 1 thing is not up for question is his love for Wayne Rooney.
:: After Rooney scored a brace of goals to help beat the Swiss it is no surprise Mr Parry is hailing the Roonster as the next best thing since sliced bread.
:. One need not be an Everton fan to agree the boy Wayne Rooney is a phenomenon in the making.
:: I must urge caution though because if anyone saw Michael Owen make his debut (or maybe his second appearance, am not sure now) off of the bench for Liverpool when losing to Wimbledon FC, one might have thought like I did that Owen was going to be a genuine world class operator.
:. In my humble opinion Michael has not reached those giddy heights and has indeed become less effective than when he was a raw youth.
:: Hopefully the same fate will not become of the boy wonder Wayne Rooney
