Online casino's banning of robot play is an excuse to stall winners.
Ted Loh, fair gaming supporter, staunch player advocate and boss of the Got2Bet Online Gambling Guide has described the banning of robot play in online casino's as a Stupid Casino Trick
♣ I strongly agree ♣
I mean i've begged this question of my peers many times spanning over 2 years. Microgaming have fairly recently built an automatic play facility into their new Viper Software so I guess my question has finally been partly answered.
Unless the games have a negative expectation to the house there is no good reason to ban the use of robots. The best reason put forward by various casino's that forbid the use of bots is gamblers make more mistakes when playing by eye.
I find that reasoning quite patronising to be frank and am going to urge Ted to contact his Microgaming contacts to find out whether the introduction of automatic casino play has indeed been a success profits wise or just the opposite, therefore debunking his, various other knowledgable gambling sources and my thoughts on the matter.
♠ I will not be moved until I see some form of proof. It is indeed a stupid casino trick that has been used as an excuse to stall perfectly legitimate casino winners time and time again.
