Argentine soccer legend Diego Maradona is heavily sedated in intensive care after suffering from hypertension.
The 43-year-old Maradona, who is well known to be suffering from a drugs addiction, was taken to a private clinic last night and has been put on a respirator.
Diego Armando Maradona has been admitted to intensive care, because of a crisis of hypertension related to miocardium. He also had respiratory difficulties so is aided by a respirator, as a result of which he's permanently sedated.
